Daniella and Katherine came in for a very special session, one that makes me truly realize why I do what I do. I am here to capture people’s memories, memories that they will cherish for a lifetime. Memories that mean so very much, especially at milestones and occassions.

Katherine went thru breast cancer surgery in May and is currently undergoing radiation therapy. Daniella just recently moved to Colorado, and wanted to get photos done while she was in town. I have been photographing Daniella’s beautiful family for six years and have really gotten to feel like a part of their family. It was such an honor to document these very special images for them, images that I know mean so very much. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it 🙂

  1. These are gorgeous. My grandfather had a stroke in 2005 and he passed away last year. We had always taken pictures of the family but I was able to get pictures and video of him with my baby boy (who really was a baby then!) and those are my favorite photos.

  2. And again, you’ve touched my soul – these pictures are so beautiful! There is so much emotion, raw and real expressed in each and every one. Kudos to you and that camera of yours (cuz’ my camera doesn’t take pictures like that!)

  3. I love these photos Amy – you’ve really captured the strength and dignity in her mom’s eyes, as well as the mother-daughter connection. You’re incredibly talented!

  4. I can feel the emotions by looking at the pictures alone. They are very beautiful photos Amy, glad that you were able to capture this special moment for them. xoxo
